It’s coming, but in Christ there is hope.

First Chronicles 12:32 speaks of…

“the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.”

While the Bible is complete and we should be very cautious of so-called “modern-day prophets,” I do believe that there are still modern-day “children of Issachar.” They are strong in the word, walk closely with God, and have been given a special understanding of the times in which we are living. They can bring Godly discernment and warnings to his people. There are actually many such ones in the world today, and many more are needed. It is in this sense that I write, not as a prophet, but as a fallible man and “son of Issachar” that seeks to understand the times through God’s word and Holy Spirit.

Having said this, I wish to share directly with certain trusted brethren in Christ what I believe is about to happen. You may choose to pass this information along to others that your trust, but for now, I am sending this to less than forty people. God knows where it will lead and where it will end. My purpose in doing so is not to cause fear. Far from it. I write these words so that if/when they come to pass, all will know that God is in control and we can trust Him completely during the trying times ahead.

I believe the pieces of the puzzle fit together and when considered carefully, and it´s quite simple to see how one thing leads to another. I would only ask you to prayerfully and sincerely consider what follows.

The matter is simple. If what I share in the following paragraphs becomes reality, then my discernment was true. If it does not, I was wrong and will fully admit my mistake. But I can no longer retain what I believe God has been impressing me with for the last several months or so. But I must say, and this seems incredible, I hope that I am wrong. I’ll say it again: I hope what I am going to share below does not happen. But, in spite of this wish, I do not believe I am mistaken. For the record, I am writing these words on May 2nd, 2024.

Before continuing, please let me make clear that what I am going to say will only ring true if you are among the many whose spiritual discernment led you to believe that the worldwide pandemic of 2020 was a carefully planned event meant to accomplish a certain objective. It will also make more sense if you are one of those many millions that believe that the 2020 US election was indeed…stolen. If you don´t think in this manner, and instead believe that “the vax” was a good thing and that January 6th was an attempted “insurrection,” then you probably will scoff and laugh at what follows. But, still, read on please, because if what is written here becomes reality, there will be no more laughing, from anybody.

No, I’m not a crazy conspiracy theorist. I’m a simple minister of the Gospel that loves God and God’s people. I unashamedly believe the Bible is God’s word and true in all that it teaches. I aspire to be a man of prayer and a student of Bible prophecy. I’m actually “fairly normal.” Everyone who knows me well can testify to this. I want to live a nice, comfortable life as much as the next person, and for that reason I wish that I could just ignore this message that has been burning in my heart night and day, but I cannot. I must speak and the time is now. What I am going to relate is what I believe to be the result of much prayer, study, and discernment. Again, it’s as simple as putting the pieces of a puzzle together.

I´ll try and be as brief and to the point as I can. What I am going to share actually extends out many years. The jump I make from what is about to happen in a few months to the full rise of the antichrist power many years down the road may seem awkward, but it’s all connected, and this is why I weave them together. Hopefully, it will become as clear to you as it is to me.

So, here goes…

We are approaching an financial collapse in the United States of epic proportions. It is a collapse that is being carefully planned by the same malevolent forces that unleashed the “plandemic” on the world over four years ago. Those forces are non other than satanic influences working through hidden, and the not so hidden global elites and agendas. These dark forces go much deeper than just the names we often hear: Soros, Gates, Schwab. Those men are just some of the visible players, but only the tip of the hidden proverbial iceberg. The darkness runs deep and prefers to remain behind the scenes as it yanks the chains, controls the puppets, and creates the narrative.

Consider how one thing leads to another. The “give away” and glaring indication of “the plan” is simply this- that Mr. Biden will be the Democrat candidate for president in 2024. If, for some reason he is not, the first domino may not fall and what follows may not happen. But, in making this man their candidate again, I believe that they are giving away their plan. It’s almost like the cackling villain in the movie that simply cannot resist to give all the details of his plot. It’s just too obvious.

Why would I say this? Because the ingeniously evil powers that orchestrated the C-Virus and the stolen election of 2020 are simply far too intelligent to once again run an historically unpopular and mentally challenged geriatric patient as their presidential candidate for 4 more years unless…their plan is for him to actually lose the 2024 election. Yes, I believe the beginning stage of “the plan” is for Joe Biden to lose the 2024 election to Donald Trump. Why? It seems unfathomable until you consider the a few things logically. Then it all makes sense and comes together.

Explanation…

The entire United States economy is being artificially sustained from total collapse and has been for some time now, running on a foundation that simply doesn’t exist. This has also been part of the plan. The US national deficit is soon to exceed 36 trillion dollars- a debt so large that even if every person in the USA (over 330 million) gave every dollar they could produce in a week to pay it, it would still not be enough to cover the debt. Think about that for a moment.

But it gets worse.

Very soon, all the revenues within the US will not be enough to pay even the interest on this crushing deficit that was purposely created, and the pied piper will finally come for payment. The truth is, this epic crash should have happened quite while ago, but the time wasn’t right, so the dark forces have given a false sense of security by artificially sustaining the economy upon a financial foundation that is nothing short of an illusion.

For these controlling forces, the meticulously planned moment to unleash the coming financial collapse must be during the presidency of a conservative constitutionalist. It has to happen under a president that embodies an “America first” agenda and that is sympathetic towards Judeo-Christian values. For the master plan to be successful, such a president and such a presidency must be forever destroyed, or the current “spirit of the age” will be unable to achieve its true, global objectives. This is why the orchestrated collapse can only happen during the Trump regime- in order to set up the election of 2028 and achieve the end result they are really seeking.

So, knowing this, if “they” allow the 2024 election to play out without interfering, the “America first” candidate will easily win. The current invasion at the southern border by unvetted millions and the insane anti-Israel demonstrations happening all across the US at the time of this writing will only help Donald Trump to regain the White House in 2024- and this time there won’t be any interference or cheating. All that must be done it to simply allow things to take their natural course. Even all of the current endless legal attacks against Trump will only help to gain him more sympathy and popularity, and the dark forces know this, and for this reason not one of the the legal attacks will succeed. Everything is being tightly monitored and controlled, once again, according to “the plan;” and the beginning stage of that plan is for Trump to win a second term.

This is just a few months away. After winning the election in November 2024, conservatives and most biblical Christians will celebrate as those on the Left protest and demonstrate en masse. But all celebrations and demonstrations of this sort will be short lived. Around the 2nd or 3rd year of Trump’s second term, the devastating financial Kraken will be unleashed out of nowhere and will bring the once proud United States to its knees. Suddenly, and without warning, the economy will crash, businesses will fail, inflation will skyrocket, the dollar will plunge, and unemployment will surge.  Everyone will be selling, no one will be buying. There will be runs on banks and in a matter of days, all the shelves in stores will be completely empty. Panic will ensue, and then violence. Fear will give way to mass hysteria, group think, and even Marshall law. Economists will be at a loss to explain what is happening, but one thing is  sure, the president will be blamed as always when economic failure occurs under his watch. Then, even greater violence will return. As cities burn and mayhem extends everywhere, this generation will experience something it has never experienced: a panic and poverty previously unknown in the United States of America.

If you don’t believe that something like this can happen, history will inform you that it already has. But what is coming is far worse. The Black Tuesday crash of 1929 was brought on in great part by stocks bought on credit; a practice known as “speculation.” The market and economy was surging. The bubble grew and grew until it finally burst. False security led to negligence and complacency. The warnings of a few were ignored, and with devasting effects. The exact same thing is happening now. History is repeating itself. No one wants to believe the dire warnings of the few. It’s easier to just put it off, sweep it under the rug, and say, “That can’t happen here.” How quickly the lessons of 9/11 and the C19 pandemic are forgotten.

Today, the US economy is in even more vulnerable state than 1929. Most of the false “prosperity” is being sustained by credit, just like in 1929. Trillions of dollars have been illegally printed with nothing to back its worth except bonds that are also based on the same imaginary money. It is an economy whose foundation is based on literally nothing. In addition, unprecedented consumer and credit card debt will also contribute towards the coming crash when the time is deemed right by those hiding in the shadows: yes, the same ones that unleashed the C19 virus on the world. Another time of planned chaos will return, and the global elites won’t realize that they themselves are being controlled by none other than spirits of the kingdom of darkness .

This is the second phase of the plan. But be assured, in the midst of all the chaos, God will not abandon his people! Yes, we will eat, but less. Everyone will. I don’t believe that we as Christians in the United States must store up mountains of supplies and provisions or prepare apocalyptic shelters. As always, we just need to trust in God’s care and provision. We may have to learn to live like most of the third world has been living for centuries, with only the bare necessities. I repeat, God will take care of his own. We may only eat once or twice a day, or perhaps may even go a day or two without food, but we will eat enough to survive. We will learn quite literally what it means that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word the proceeds from the mouth of God.”

But now for some good news. Because the idol of materialism will be toppled, the world will see an unprecedented number of repentant sinners come to Christ for salvation. God will raise up powerful, prophetic voices that will unashamedly proclaim the eternal truths of his word. So, It won´t all bad. God will still be in control, and His plan will eventually overcome all others. Always keep this wonderful truth in mind even as the storm grows worse and worse. It will be peace in the midst of the storm.

Then, the next stage begins to unfold.

After the terrible collapse and amid the chaos, as the election of 2028 approaches, a mysterious figure will appear as a presidential candidate. He will claim to have the answers. This man was the original chosen candidate, but also the one they withheld in 2024 until after the collapse for obvious reasons. With silky-smooth charisma he will make promises and gain a following as has never before been seen. Relatively few will see through the ploy, but God´s praying people will. He will easily win the election of 2028 by a landslide and will immediately implement heavy handed socialistic policies with the support of both branches of Congress, which will also be under the control of the new, neo-Marxists. This new president will then quickly make the United States part of the greater “global community.” The USA will lose its identity as a world power in order to become part of this well planned, “New World Order.” Most other countries will do the same as the greatest economic crash in history effects literally every nation on Earth. “Extreme times require extreme measures” they will say. Once again, individual freedoms will be exchanged for “free” handouts and feeble promises of government security.

As the years progress, the Socialistic regime will become more and more severe. Many constitutional rights will be no more, or greatly limited. Every election will be rigged. Persecution will begin against those that dare to oppose the great Nanny State. This will go on for many years and I can only hope that the Lord Jesus Christ will return for His Bride before this time. Maybe He will come today! That is my hope and what Scripture instructs us to wait for. But the lost world has no such hope.

Here is where a big shift comes. Enter the beginnings of the antichrist power that will conquer this very secular, neo-Marxist system. I believe this is still years away, but it is surely coming. Babylon will fall.

This is how it will happen.

Western culture and society will become completely corrupted, perverted, and destroyed by socialism and the queer and anti-family agendas. The traditional, nuclear family will be rare, and for this reason society will grow weaker through crime, corruption and entitlement until it falls prey to the eventual antichrist system. This system will be supported by a group of over a billion and a half strong that have not compromised their family values and convictions- a demographic that has only grown stronger during the time of complete decay and disintegration of the western world. The false utopia created by homosexual and trans ideology will be destroyed without warning by the warriors of the coming world dominion.

The entity I am referring to is the only one that fulfills every prophetic characteristic of the Antichrist/Beast system in the Bible. It is non other than the religion of Islam. Before you dismiss this, please consider…

  1. Islam is now the ideology of over 1.6 billion people and is now the fastest growing religion in the world.
  2. The word “Islam” literally means “submission” and its goal has been, is, and always will be the complete subjection of all the world’s governments to Sharia law. This is the meaning of the term “jihad,” which is the struggle to impose Islam and Sharia law over the entire Earth.  We are already seeing this happening in the Western world in places like Britain, France, and incredibly, the USA where it is in its beginning stages. The terrorists are here. The sleeper cells are awaiting their order and the opportune moment to attack, and turn the USA into “Amerikastan.”

 Also consider..

3. The eschatology, or future prophecies of Islam are centered around the coming of a Messiah-like figure called the “Mahdi,” who will enforce Islam upon the world at the point of death. Conversion by the sword has historically been Islam’s calling card, and the Mahdi will do the same. Incredibly, his right hand and principal executioner in this genocide will be none other than… Jesus! Yes, radical Islam actually teaches and believes this, especially the Shi’a version of Islam. Islamic eschatology declares that Jesus will indeed return, but, we know of course, this will be a false Christ, even as the God’s word has warned us many times. But the deception will be great enough to ensnare myriads of nominal and unsaved “christians.”

More reasons that the antichrist system is Islam…

4. Israel is God’s time clock, and Islam is the greatest enemy of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. Jihadi Muslims will not rest until the Jewish nation is completely destroyed. Does this sound prophetic? We are seeing only the beginning today on the university campuses in the United States. Islam also lays claim to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and maintains its third most holy site there, the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This fact also fits into prophecy and is eerily similar to the “abomination of desolation” that Christ spoke of “standing in the holy place.”

I could speak much more of about this in detail, but for time’s sake I will continue with the next biblical mark of the coming Antichrist system.

5. The Beast system will obviously be the enemy of biblical Christianity. And once again, Islam is currently also the greatest enemy of the true follows of the true Jesus. Along with Communism, Islam has put to death more Christians than any entity on Earth, and this deadly persecution continues even today in many countries where Islam is able to exercise its power and authority.

Yet another sign, and this is a very interesting one…

6. Islam does not compromise. It has no “progressive” side like other religions. It is totally fundamental and completely committed to its objective of submitting the world to Allah. This is why Muslim family values are strong. Men alone are the leaders. Gender roles are very clearly defined. Strength and masculinity are an admired trait by all, especially the youth. Men are men, and women are women in Islam. Large families are desired and sought after. While western culture shuns marriage in favor of queer culture and murders children in the womb, preferring dogs over kids, the Islamic world will only grow stronger through large, strong families. When the total attack on manhood and the family is complete in the western world, there will then be little or no resistance to the coming Muslim blitzkrieg that will conquer the western world. Do we really believe that the delicate, neon colored culture of homosexuals, transexuals, and drag queens will be able to successfully defend themselves from the Islamic warriors that have been training for years to kill “the infidels” and are willing to die in a second to obtain their goal of total world dominion? It’s a scary thought, isn’t it? I hope you can see now why the enemy of our souls has been working day and night to weaken the nuclear family and empower the LGBTQ+ agenda.

If you still need more convincing that Islam is the prophesied antichrist/Beast foretold in holy Scripture, please also consider…

7. The clearest description of the Antichrist in the entire Bible is found in                       I John 4:3, which states:

“and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”

To “confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh” is a confession that He is the only begotten Son of God. To deny this is the very spirit of antichrist. It’s interesting that in Islam, such a confession is considered blasphemy and even punishable by death. Why? Because, according to the Koran, Allah “does not begat, nor is he begotten.” The Koran declares that God has no son and to say so is an abomination. So, we see that the clearest description of the coming antichrist is once again strikingly identified in the religion of Islam.

More proof…

8. The prescribed method of execution in the Koran is by beheading, which is the very method that will be used by the antichrist/beast system according to the book of Revelation.

9. Finally, Bible prophecy declares that the Antichrist, or Beast system will enforce a mark of authority upon every human being in the world. The mark is quite literal, and the technology to implement such a thing is not coming…its already here. The mark is associated not only with buying and selling, but with worship. Taking the mark is a sign of surrender and worship to the Beast’s power and authority. Those who refuse it will not be able to buy, sell, or even be employed. Eventually, those that resist will be executed by beheading, every last one. Now, let me ask you, knowing what radical Islam declares and the mentality of Jihadist Muslims in general, do you actually think such persons will, in order to save their lives, worship the Beast by accepting a mark on their hand or forehead? The answer is quite clear…no. Unless…the mark is a sign of submission to the Mahdi himself, and to Islam, and these powers are what forms the antichrist/beast described in the last book of the Bible! In that case, all of them will gladly take the mark. The pieces of the puzzle continue to come together.

In conclusion, I wish to repeat that I am not writing this as a prophecy. I did not see a vision and I have heard no audible voices. But the conviction within me is strong and the pieces are coming together as “the plan” begins to unfold. If what I have written here does indeed occur, then this writing will indeed be considered prophetic. If it does not, I’m willing to admit my error. The strange thing is…I hope I am wrong. I want to live in safety and prosperity as much as the next guy. But our desire for peace and prosperity should not dictate to us what is true, or blind us as to what will happen in the future.  No one wants to hear that hard times are coming. All of the prophets in the Old Testament were scorned and hated for bringing such messages. But, ignoring or silencing the message or the messengers did not stop what God had decreed.

My purpose in writing these paragraphs is not to scare people or become famous. I just want to be a faithful “son of Issachar” and share my prayerful observations, so that if/when these things do happen, we will have an even deeper conviction that God is with us and will not abandon us. It is to help all to understand that there is an even bigger plan: God´s plan that cannot fail.

Somewhere along this dreadful story, something wonderful will happen: Jesus will come for His Bride, the true Church. If you are one of the members of the body of Christ, if you are one of the virgins with oil in your lamp and ready to meet the Bridegroom, keep looking up, for your redemption draws nigh! No matter what happens in the months and years to come, keep your eyes fixed upon the clouds, because He will return for His own. Maranatha!

THE TWO EDGED SWORD

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:30

God is love, full of mercy and grace. He is patient and kind. We can all say “amen” to this I hope. If you have been in church lately, chances are that most of the messages or sermons you have heard have been centered on this wonderful truth that we all so fully embrace.

However, if we believe that our faith as Christians is to be formed and defined by the Bible, and not by modern culture, then we must recognize that most churches these days have not been telling the whole story about what the Scriptures teach about God. The love, grace, and mercy are only one edge of a two edged sword.

I have heard many people say, “I just don´t like that fire and brimstone, repent or go to Hell kind of preaching!” Well, let me ask you, when was the last time you heard any?

You see, the same New Testament that declares that God is loving, kind, merciful, patient, and full of grace, also speaks of His holiness, wrath, and judgment. Yes, there is a Heaven, but there is also a Hell. Actually, if you do an exhaustive study of the New Testament, you will find that it speaks even MORE of the latter than the former!

So which is it? Is God merciful and loving, or severe in His wrath and judgments? The answer is, of course, both. In fact, one can only be understood in the light of the other. God is so holy and loves so much, that His very nature cannot tolerate sin and evil- they must be dealt with. This is the other edge of the sword.

At the the cross of Calvary both are seen: the severe judgment and wrath of God against sin, and the extreme love and mercy of God extended to the sinner.

Obviously, no one wants to hear only about God´s wrath, judgment, and Hell. If that is all we heard or believed the results would be a warped view of God and a great hindrance to entering into the loving relationship that He desires to have with us. Also, viewing God in only this way will lead to an obedience and service that springs from the wrong motives.

However, presenting or believing in a God that is only love, grace, and mercy is also not without problems. Such a God is not the God the Bible presents, and often leads to a lax attitude towards sin, the heresy of universalism, and in other cases…atheism.

Atheism? Yes, Let me explain…

Believing in a God that is only love and never wrathful, that forgives everyone unconditionally and never judges or condemns guilty, unrepentant sinners flies in the face of His holiness, justice, and righteousness. Such a “god” fails to take into account and explain the existence of evil, injustice, and death. It would be like an unrepentant man that killed the person you love the most and in spite of his proven guilt, is set free by the judge without any consequences whatsoever. Just imagine if the murderer said in court,

“Judge, I admit, I did it. I killed in cold blood. But I believe you are so good and so loving that you won´t do anything to me except let me go, free of all charges!”

Just imagine. But then again, if the judge is a good judge, he must reply,

“You are right about one thing, I am good, and I am loving. As a matter of fact, I am so good and so loving that I am going to make sure justice is served by condemning you to the maximum sentence of the law. Guilty of all charges!” This alone is the sentence that would bring a sense of righteousness and justice, especially to the person that suffered the murder of the loved one.

The Bible declares, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne.” Psalm 89:14 God is so good and so holy that his very nature requires that evil be dealt with severely. This is why God did not ignore Adam´s original sin in the Garden or even extend him a “second chance.” His holiness demanded the death of the sinner, and that very day the first man and woman died spiritually by being cast out of God´s presence and the process of physical death began in their bodies. Yes indeed, a holy God will judge and condemn sinners. (Unless, of course, someone without sin could pay the penalty for us vicariously! Oh, who could that be?) If we remove this divine trait from God, we are left with a hollow theology and a lot of confusing questions and very few answers.

It is because this has been the “god” that has been presented in the post-modern church, that so many young people are now going through what is known as the “deconstruction of faith,” such as Jonathan Steingard, former lead singer of the contemporary Christian band Hawk Nelson, who could find no way to reconcile the “God of love” that he always believed in with a world full of suffering and cruelty.

Perhaps the two edged sword was never presented to him. If Mr. Steingard would simply understand that all suffering is directly or indirectly the result of mankind´s rebellion against God: that little word we call “sin,” perhaps things would make more sense to him and many others that have been deceived. This is especially true when we realize that the biblical God reacts severely against this terrible three letter word that always leads to death. In fact, He is so severe in His judgment against it that He sent his only begotten son to “become sin for us,” and to “taste death for every man.” Yes indeed, “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord,” who “died for our sins according to the scriptures.”

God´s word clearly declares that the day is coming when He will bring one, final judgment of purifying fire. Satan, sin, suffering, and death will be no more. Unrepentant sinners, who spurned God´s mercy and grace shown on Calvary´s cross will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Then He will say,

“Behold, I make all things new!” The redeemed will live in that city where the Lamb is the light, where there will only be eternal love, joy, and peace. This has been the eternal hope of true, Bible believing Christians for two millennium.

During a recent search of the New Testament, I copied every verse I could find that spoke of God´s wrath, judgment, condemnation, and Hell, and let me tell you , there were a lot! Before you reject my thesis, please read through the passages below. If you believe the Bible is Holy Spirit inspired, you will be obligated to admit that it presents a God that is indeed loving and merciful, but also severe in His wrathful judgment against unrepentant sin and sinners. Only when we affirm both edges of the sword can we make sense of sin, suffering, and death. Only when we wield the two edged sword can we say with assurance that the God we profess and the faith we proclaim are true, because they spring from the very source that the Almighty left us to determine such things: the Holy Scriptures. The results will be evident, because God blesses that which is true. He cannot bless that which is not.

Yes, in spite of today’s ungodly culture that seeks in vain to re-create a false god and gospel after its own imagination, the true God continues to reign over his creation. Perhaps it is time that we start believing and preaching both edges of that sharp, two edged sword again. The results will be evident, for His word will not return void.

Luke 16:19-31 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

John 15:6 If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Acts 5:3-5 But Peter said, “Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back part of the price of the land? While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” And Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and gave up the ghost. And great fear came on all those who heard these things.

Acts 12:22-24 And the people gave a shout, saying, “It is the voice of a god, and not of a man!” And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory; and he was eaten by worms and gave up the ghost.

Acts 13:9-12 Then Saul (who also is called Paul), filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him and said, “O, full of all guile and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.” And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness, and he went about seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

Romans 2:2-11. And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things. But do you suppose this, you foolish person who passes judgment on those who practice such things, and yet does them as well, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and restraint and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will repay each person according to their deeds: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life; but to those who are self-serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Greek, but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God

Romans 5:8-9 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 9:22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Colossians 3:5-6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

II Thess 1:7-9 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Hebrews 10:26-31 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

2 Peter 2:4 “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;”

2 Peter 2:9 Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

2 Peter 2:17 “These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.”

Jude 1:5-7 Now I want to remind you, though you know everything once and for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has kept in eternal restraints under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in sexual perversion and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

Jude 1:13 “They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.”

Revelation 2:20-23 Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He that searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give unto every one of you according to your works

Revelation 6:16-17 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,

Revelation 14:9-11 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Revelation 16:19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.

Revelation 19:11-15 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Revelation 20:10 “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Revelation 20:14,15 -Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

HOW TO TURN AN ENTIRE DENOMINATION INTO FULL AFFIRMING IN 10 STEPS.

The Apostle Paul, in referring to the attack strategy of Satan, declared, “for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Cor 2:11) In today’s religious world of confusion, heresy, and outright apostasy, Christians would do well to heed the inspire and sage advice of the apostle. We also need to be advised of the strategy of our enemy if we are to successfully combat the attacks and malevolent plans of the power of darkness.

The homosexual and transgender affirmation issue has become the modern-day acid test or “shibboleth” that immediately identifies where one stands on a myriad of other topics. If one declares to be full affirming of homosexual relationships, it is likely that we can take a pretty good guess where he/she stands in many other areas as well such as Sola Scriptura, Christ as the only way to Heaven, sin, the atonement, entire sanctification, eternal condemnation, evolution, social justice & CRT, etc.

What follows is a step-by-step plan that is being used to infiltrate, contaminate, and potentially destroy yet another Gospel preaching, holiness denomination with this “acid test issue.”

Rome was not conquered in a day, nor did Harvard University transform from a school dedicated the training of Christian ministers to a bastion of ungodly, humanist philosophy in just one generation. The enemy of our souls is patient, but lately seems to be making some great strides towards accomplishing his purposes within the Church of the Nazarene. I pray that he won’t, and hope that it is not too late.

So, here are the…

STEPS TO TURN THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE INTO FULL AFFIRMING OF HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS AND PRACTICE

  1. Begin by questioning, undermining, and delegitimatizing the foundational authority that condemns homosexual practice, namely the Bible. Argue against its inerrancy, subtly declaring as did the liberal theologians over 100 years ago, that Jesus is the word of God, not the Bible, and therefore is not our only source of authority for practice and doctrine. Accuse those that believe in the full authority and inerrancy of Scripture of “Bibliolatry” and identify them as harsh, Reformed-Theology Fundamentalists. Say continually, “that’s not Wesleyan!” (even if it is.) The association game works if done right.

2. Establish the narrative that homosexual attraction and desire is not sinful in itself, thereby leading to the fallacy of the “gay, celibate Christian,” who finds his/her identity more in their libido than in Christ alone. If the lie is believed that homosexual orientation in itself is not sinful or against God, no need will be seen to separate from that sinful identity, so hence the “gay Christian community” is formed. This step is absolutely essential if the remaining ones are to work and must be established before full affirmation can take place. After that…

3. nuance those “big six” passages in the Bible that clearly identify homosexual activity as sin against God in order to give them new meanings so that they cannot be applied to modern monogamous, gay relationships. Portray these passages as “cultural” or “misunderstood.” Say that they were only referring to temple prostitution or similar things. Appeal only to those “scholars” that share this sentiment. Continually say that Jesus Himself never even mentioned homosexuality. (Even though his words in Matthew 19 are more than enough to prove that biblical sexuality is exclusive between one man and one woman)

4. Now, leaving the Scripture, use the famous leftist textbook tactic of redefining important words and terms in order to create and promote the gay agenda. It worked in regular society, so why would it not work in the church as well? Words such as love, hate, values, inclusivity, family, and equality are given new meanings that make gay agenda proponents look like “the good guys,” and the adherents of traditional and biblical sexuality look like the bad ones.

5. Take the high ground by calling anyone that does not embrace and affirm the homosexual agenda a “fundamentalist” hater and homophobe. Continually make comparisons to the slavery and civil rights battles that have already been fought and won, attempting to make an equivalence. This tactic is especially effective in convincing young people that are not very well biblically grounded or trained. Once this is done, then…

6. Appeal to people’s emotion, empathy, and compassion to legitimize homosexual relationships and practice. Repeat the mantras of “everyone has a right to love and be loved,” “affirm them or they may commit suicide,” and “hate is not a Christian virtue,” until everyone wants to identify with the so-called compassionate community, not the “bigoted one.” Then, as time passes…

7. Count on the fact that as homosexuality grows more and more persuasive and accepted in society, most Nazarene leaders will eventually have a family member that identifies as homosexual, and will be forced to make the decision of holding to biblical values (thereby cruelly “rejecting” the gay family member, because a failure to affirm is “rejection and hate,” right?) or capitulate their conviction out of a feeling of empathy for their gay son, daughter, brother, sister, nephew, niece, etc. This experience will be enough to at least silence this pastor or leader if not totally convert him to join in the cause. Once this is done, then…

8. Boldly introduce the call for complete affirmation into the denomination, possibly through a book with several authors that has a very “in your face” title about becoming full affirming. Then, when ministers or professors openly declare their support for the queer agenda and are disciplined, fired, or have their credentials removed, raise the cry that the church is being “cruel and unloving!” Then, as some affirming ministers and professors are terminated and defrocked, call continually for “dialogue” with the conservative/traditionalists about the issue. When they refuse to dialogue because they say that it is already an established issue within the church, then promote the narrative that they are motivated by “fear and bigotry,” and this is why they refuse to have an open discussion about the homosexuality issue. When momentum is gained, then…

9. Pressure, threaten, and influence denominational leaders, even general superintendents to become fully affirming. Seek to gain proponents in high places. Threaten lawsuits and shout the word “discrimination” all the time. Attempt to convince these important leaders that cultural relevance is more important than biblical integrity.

10. Finally, create a controversy and schism so great on an international level that the denomination is eventually forced to split into two groups.

Given enough time, the full affirming group will begin to die away since theological liberalism is a parasite that needs a conservative host to survive. Once this happens, send the parasites into the other group that held fast to biblical sexuality and begin the process once again with step #1.

Well, there it is. That’s the plan. How do I know this is true? Because it’s already been done, step by step in many other denominations. It has worked in some, but was stopped in others. What will be our response as Nazarenes?

Right now, the plan is somewhere between steps 7 and 8. Now is the time for God fearing, Bible believing, and holiness loving Nazarenes everywhere to wake up and put an end to this nefarious plan, or it will be too late. How? I’ll leave the answer to that question for another day, but I pray that this writing will help a bit to maintain this denomination (where I serve as an ordained elder) in holiness, purity, and Scriptural integrity. I know that it will generate many angry responses from the “full affirming” crowd, but truth always seems to have a way of doing that.

In these last days of deception, may God give his Bride wisdom, discernment, and a deep love for His truth as we move yet another day closer to His glorious return.

The Importance of Affirming Biblical Inerrancy.

Rev. S. Wilson

Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, affirmed that the Bible was true in ALL that it teaches. So should you, and here is why!

Let’s start out with this quote from the man of God that shook a generation, John Wesley:

“Nay, if there be any mistakes in the Bible, there may as well be a thousand. If there be one falsehood in that book, it did not come from the God of truth.”

So, what is meant by biblical inerrancy?

It means just what John Wesley stated in the above quote.  It is simply the belief that “the Bible is the written word of God to humanity and is true in all that it teaches.” Its complete truthfulness pertains not only to matters of soteriology and theology, but also those of the natural world and history.

An inspired, infallible, and inerrant Bible was the belief proclaimed by Christ himself and has been the historic position of the early church and virtually all of Christianity until the rise of the age of human reason in the 18th century, also called the “Enlightenment.”

Clement of Rome in the first century wrote, “Look carefully into the Scriptures, which are the true utterances of the Holy Spirit. Observe that nothing of an unjust or counterfeit character is written in them.”

A century later, Irenaeus concluded, “The Scriptures are indeed perfect, since they were spoken by the Word of God and his Spirit.”

The view of a totally true Bible has been the historic position of the Christian Church in general throughout the centuries and is so well established, that even some liberal, modern theologians that attempt to negate it have freely confessed and conceded this point.

(For a deeper study on the historicity of biblical inerrancy, see John Hannah, Inerrancy and the Church, Moody Press)

These subtle and sometimes brazen attacks by “progressive” theologians against the teaching of inerrancy have been met and defeated before, but periodically the subject needs to be revisited in light of the latest efforts of those that would say the Bible is not true in all that it teaches.

This all time bestselling book is indeed “an anvil that has worn out many hammers.” In 1978, a more extensive definition of biblical inerrancy was compiled in what has become known as the “Chicago Statement on biblical inerrancy,” which can be viewed in its entirety online with any search engine.

So, what exactly is at stake when we discuss the subject of biblical inerrancy? Nothing less than the very character of God and His word! The seriousness of this subject can be illustrated like this: If God appeared just now and audibly spoke something to you, would you believe what He said is true? Yes?  Ok, why? Well, I think we would agree because HE HIS GOD of course and “it is impossible for God to lie.” (Heb. 6:18)

But, if you believe the one, true God is capable of falsehoods, you may want to quit reading right here because we are starting from two completely different planets of premise. However, if you, like me also affirm the holy, perfect, and true character of the one and only Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer, then, please continue reading because we’re halfway there!

God´s written revelation to people of every nation, tribe, and tongue

To delve deeper into this all-important issue, we must ask, “what specifically did God give to humanity to reveal who He is and what is true regarding life, morality, and eternity?” He most certainly did not leave us a pope, a prophet, or even a church. History has proven all these entities often err and contradict one another. No- He left us…his word, the Bible, which together with the Holy Spirit promises to lead us into all of God´s revealed truth to humankind.

But, is the Bible truly the word of God? Does it even claim such a title?

No less than Jesus Christ himself called the Scripture “the word of God” on numerous occasions such as in Mark 7:13 and John 10:35. In his direct confrontation with Satan in the wilderness, the Son of God quoted directly from Scripture with complete authority to deflect all three of the evil one’s temptations. “It is written!” is the rock in which He stood firm. This constant appeal to the Bible reveals his own absolute conviction that these words were inerrant and were the very words of divinity.

That the Old Testament Scriptures were the authoritative and completely accurate written word of God is what Christ clearly believed, taught, and preached while He walked the Earth as a man. In the Gospels, He quoted from at least twenty-seven books from the Old Testament. He can constantly be heard saying,

“Have you not read…”

“It is written…”

“…that the Scripture might be fulfilled,”

“You know not the Scriptures, nor the power of God,”

“Well has Isaiah prophesied…”

“…and the Scripture cannot be broken,”

and so on and so on.

The Lord Jesus, the night before his suffering, fervently interceded for his disciples, praying: “Father, sanctify them with your truth. Your word is truth.”  John 17:17.

Notice, Jesus did not just say, “your word contains truth.” He said, “your word IS truth.” Now that´s a powerful theological statement.

So, should your view of the Bible be any less than the view espoused by Christ Himself?

Let me ask that question again in case you missed it…

SHOULD YOUR VIEW OF HOLY SCRIPTURE BE ANY LESS THAN THE VIEW OF CHRIST HIMSELF?

I hope your answer is no, because affirming biblical inerrancy aligns us with the very position held by Christ, his apostles, the reformers, and virtually all the great missionaries, evangelists, and preachers during the last five hundred years.

Now let’s take a closer look at the conviction the apostles held regarding the matter.

The Apostle Paul, writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit declared that “unto the Jews have been entrusted the very words of God.” (Romans 3:2). He was referring to the Old Testament of course.

He told Timothy,

…and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:15-17

A careful reading of these passages reveal that Paul had the highest view of the Old Testament Scriptures. It was the same view that Christ himself affirmed.

Should our value of the New Testament be any different? Of course not.

Jesus did not in any way modify the common affirmation of biblical inerrancy during his time of earthly life but confirmed it through his many statements in the Gospels as already shown. He even spoke of “jots and tittles” not passing away. These were the most minor grammar points. That seems pretty exact!

Christ then even went on to say, “Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away,” thereby giving his words the same infallibility as the holy book he spent his life quoting from constantly.

So, if Jesus considered the Old Testament to be without error, as well as his own words, would it not stand to reason that God is powerful enough to inerrantly inspire and preserve the New Testament as well? The answer to that question is, of course- yes! We can indeed read the Bible and know that “thus says the Lord!”

The apostles in Acts 1 declared that the “Holy Spirit spoke by the mouth of David” referring to Psalm 41. In other words: Mouth of David in the Psalms = Holy Spirit speaking

Romans 9:17 declares, “For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” See how the Apostle equates the term Scripture with the actual, literal words of God?

Again, the author of 13 New Testament books declares:

“And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.” ( I Thess 2:13 ) Yes, the writings of Paul also constitute the word of God.

The Apostle Peter equates Paul’s writings in the New Testament with “the Scriptures,” when he writes:

“…also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.”

So, according to Jesus, the Apostles, and early Christianity, the New Testament obviously is on the same level as the Old.  The two together form this marvelous, perfect book we call the Bible.

A very false equivalence

Progressive theologians have objected, “the Bible isn’t the word of God! Jesus himself is.  He is the Word!”  This is indeed a very important subject because it was precisely this premise which gave an open door to liberal theology in Germany in the early 1900’s. The thought was, “if Jesus is the true Word of God, then the Bible isn’t.”  This is a very erroneous conclusion that begins the first step in the downward spiral that seems to always end in apostasy. (That is, if you believe that apostasy is even possible.  Many progressive “christians” will not even use the word)

It is true that Jesus is called ¨the word¨ Λόγος (Logos) several times in the New Testament such as in John 1:1, but the written Scripture is also called the word (Logos) of God many times, even by Christ himself, such as in John 10:35 where he states,

“…unto whom the word (Λόγος-Logos) of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.”

Here we see Christ referring to Scripture (Psalm 82:6) and calls it the “word of God” and even says that it cannot be broken.

In Mark 7:13 Christ scolded the Pharisees for “making the word (Logos) of God of none effect through your tradition.” Here, once again, the “word” he was referring to was none other than the written Scriptures themselves.

So, it is clear that Christ is the “incarnate Word of God”, and the Bible is the “written word of God.”  This is why the Greek word “Λόγος” is used interchangeably throughout the New Testament.  Indeed, Christ is the Word, but this in no way takes away from the fact that the Bible is the inerrant, written word of God to people of all nations and tongues. This alone cancels a great many of the tainted arguments used by modern “scholars” that dare claim that the Bible contains falsehoods and is not God’s perfect message to man.

“A man is only as good as his word,” is the adage. Indeed, a lying person cannot be trusted. The Bible is a reflection of God’s own character and is as true as He is.

No, we inerrantists don’t worship the Bible as some accuse us. This is an absolutely ridiculous accusation that is meant to create a false equivalency and distract from what is really at stake. Those that hold to the view of a perfect Bible are no more guilty of “bibliolatry” than was Moses, Isaiah, Jesus, Paul, John, Luther, Wesley, or Moody!  None “worship the Bible” as they try and pin on us, but we do recognize it is 100% true because it was “God breathed” from the only One that is worthy of our worship! Believing that the Bible is God’s holy, inerrant word honors Him because it recognizes that the word of God is a reflection of His perfect character. Questioning, criticizing, and doubting it dishonors Him and puts one on the side of the hissing serpent in Eden. That is, if you even believe there was a serpent or an Eden! If you don´t believe in inerrancy, you probably don´t!

A new term?

Granted, the term “biblical inerrancy” is a relatively new term in church history, but the understanding that the Bible was divinely inspired, completely true, and preserved without error is the same exact teaching and has existed since Moses or even before.

The overwhelming understanding within the ancient Jewish world was that holy Scripture was absolute truth, because it came from an absolutely true God.  We see this in Acts 17:11 where the Bereans diligently searched the Scriptures to see if what even the great Apostle Paul was teaching was correct and were commended for doing so. Did you get that? The Bible was their criteria for determining truth. Should it not be ours as well in these current days of relativism, apostasy and mass confusion?

The life changing power of believing in “Thus saith the Lord!”

I remember when I first came to Christ as a young man of 17. I began reading a nice leather-bound Bible that was given to me. I picked it up believing it was the very word of God spoken to me in the year 1988. I read it voraciously, sometimes several hours a day. I never even questioned its absolute accuracy and purity. I absorbed its words and teachings into my heart and spiritual life. I was completely transformed by the power of God´s word! At 18 I was sharing the Gospel and preaching to all that would hear with a heart and mind full of the words of the Living God.

I firmly believe it is only when the Bible is studied with this kind of conviction; the firm belief that it is absolutely true in all that it teaches, that it´s power and authority are received into the human heart and mind the way God intended. This is what the Psalmist meant when he wrote, “Your word have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against you.” Ps. 119:11 No one can tell me any different because I experienced it myself.

Sadly, I have also observed first hand as a pastor that many (if not most) young people in churches today within the USA appear to be spiritual zombies, in part because they have no interest in reading a Bible they have been taught contains mistakes and misinformation. (Of course, we don´t teach this in our church and the “zombi-ism is almost gone!”)

It has now been 36 years since I first opened the pages of that sacred book, and today its perfect truth has helped me walk with God even in difficult times. It has formed for me a perfect foundation of truth that never changes. This was God’s purpose for giving His word to all of us, and I see it marvelously fulfilled in my own life. The Bible is still a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Have you personally experienced the powerful truth of I John 2:14?…

“…I write unto you young men, because you are strong, and THE WORD OF GOD ABIDES IN YOU, and you have overcome the evil one.”

It is no wonder Satan hates the doctrine of biblical inerrancy. If I would have believed his lie that the Bible is tainted with error, I am sure that I would still be in the clutches of his deceptions today. Who knows?  I may not even be alive today had I believed the serpent´s lie.

A necessary point: the origin of the New Testament as part of Holy Scripture

The Old Testament was already part of the established canon of Holy Scripture during Jesus´ ministry and he was in complete agreement with it. However, in meeting the false challenge that the compilation of the New Testament was the product of human reasoning and criticism, it is important to note that by the mid-2nd century, there was already a general consensus among early Christians and churches regarding the four Gospels, the Acts, the Epistles, and even Revelation. The writings commonly known and accepted as genuine were widely copied and circulated.  In fact, today we can almost reconstruct the entire New Testament simply from the writings of these early Christians before the year 350 AD. Later councils only confirmed what was already common knowledge at the time.

So it was not “the Church,” at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, Carthage in 397 AD or any other “council” that determined the books of the New Testament, but rather “the churches” in general during the first two centuries AD. Due to a very strict criteria, these early believers knew which were the authentic writings of the apostles and their associates which were to be received as inspired and authoritative. These councils later simply confirmed what the Christian world already knew as fact. The Omnipotent God did indeed lead, direct, and confirm this process.

The Bible itself claims inerrancy

The Scripture itself many times puts forth the claim that it is the inerrant word of God. For example…

“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. Psalm 12:6,7

“Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89

“The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8

“If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.” I Corinthians 14:37

“His (Paul’s) letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.” II Peter 3:16

The above verses infer that the Bible is God´s perfect word and is true in all that it teaches. The Old Testament prophets believed it. Jesus proclaimed it. The apostles affirmed it, as did Christianity as a whole until apostate, liberal theology arose after the surge of secular humanism.

But, does it matter?

So, again, what exactly is at stake here?  Well, just about everything. If the Bible contains errors, then we can be certain of nothing, and every doctrine and debate simply become a matter of personal opinion and arbitrary subjectivism.

If I am known to tell the truth most of the time, but you have personally observed me also telling a few lies and falsehoods, could you believe anything I say for sure? The answer is…absolutely not! Therefore, if the Bible is not true in all, it is not true at all. This is exactly what John Wesley, the man used by God to shake an entire nation and generation, was attempting to communicate with the quote:

“Nay, if there be any mistakes in the Bible, there may as well be a thousand. If there be one falsehood in that book, it did not come from the God of truth.”

Some progressive “christians” (notice the quotes) say that all that is truly necessary is to believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Everything else is secondary, therefore believing in biblical inerrancy is not essential. The problem with this conclusion is that it attempts to separate Christ and the Gospel from the written word of God. This would be like trying to separate your lungs or heart from your body.

The birth, life, death, and resurrection of Christ have their very foundation in the prophesies of the Old Testament. It is impossible to separate the two. There is not some “generic Jesus,” or “gospel” floating around in a mystical ether somewhere unattached from the Bible. We believe in the true Jesus and the true Gospel because of holy Scripture, not separate from it. We see this clearly displayed in Acts 18:28 where it states:

“For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.”

Do you see in this passage how the conclusion that “Jesus is the Christ,” (Messiah) was based on the very foundation of the Scripture? This same foundation defines the true Gospel and the true Christ and protects us from the subjective, pragmatic false gospels and “christs” that the Apostles so frequently warned about.

Where does the rejection of biblical inerrancy lead?

If a person dislikes a verse because it condemns a practice or lifestyle they adhere to, all they have to say is that “the Bible is not inerrant, and I think those verses are in error.” Or “who knows if modern scholarship will later show those verses to be spurious or mistaken? So, why should I let them bind my conscience now?”  Can you see where this dangerous conclusion leads?

So, if I reject the truth of biblical inerrancy, who are you or anyone else in the world to tell me that my lifestyle or beliefs are in error? This is indeed the inescapable conclusion. “Truth” then becomes a matter of personal opinion and pragmatism.  Those that adhere to a denominational creed or manual may even harbor the hope that the latest “council,” “assembly,” or “community of faith” will change their stance on a topic or established doctrine, thereby making them the arbitrator of what God did or did not say. These are the dangers that present themselves when a flawed, low view of Scripture is entertained.

Our first loyalty is to God and His revealed word, not a creed, denomination, council, or assembly. We should “obey God rather than men.” Our conscience should be influenced by none other. Can you say amen? If you can’t, take heed my friend.  I’m afraid you are ripe for the coming deception. A deception so great, that Christ himself warned that, if possible, would “deceive even the very elect.”

Even today, in many denominations there are thousands of inerrancy denying, progressives ready to pounce. They are impatiently fighting for and waiting for their General Council or Assembly to change their official position regarding different subjects, such as the homosexual lifestyle. This is usually achieved in progressive phases or steps. Here is how it usually unfolds…

1. it´s not an abomination, remove that offensive word!

2. we need to “dialogue” with the queer community

3. the orientation itself is not sinful because they were “born that way.”

4. Christians can be classified as “gay”

5. Who are you or anyone else to say who they can or cannot “love?”

6. Acceptance of gay “marriage” and gay couples adopting children is “love,” and God is love.

7. Full and complete inclusion of practicing homosexuals, including clergy.

8. Non tolerance and even hate for those that do not affirm this view

9. Complete and total apostasy. Ichabod, the glory has departed!

10. The complete and final destruction of the denomination or congregation.

This has been the story of many denominations and is the current state of others. Some are currently debating one of the above points. These are the steps of progression, but the end goal is always the same.

Those that seek to discredit the Bible and introduce that which historic Christianity has condemned for thousands of years are not content to seek a denomination that holds to their abhorrent view, but will not rest until the last truth preaching, Bible believing church or movement has yielded to their demands. They have already succeeded in many places, turning entire denominations and movements to embrace the sin of the homosexual lifestyle. This is just one dangerous place that rejection of biblical inerrancy leads.

I don´t want to to stray from the subject at hand and this may be an issue better left for a different time, but you can be sure that all the denominations that have bowed their knee to the Baal of LGBTQ had first rejected the belief in biblical inerrancy. However, this does not change what God says about this, or any other matter. Something doesn’t become truth simply because a council or assembly declares it. What an entire denomination teaches is true only if the infallible word of God affirms it.

The church does not determine what the Bible teaches: the Bible determines what the church teaches. This was the predominant message of the Reformation that eventually led to the understanding that mankind’s freedoms and liberties come directly from God, not from government.  And it was this conviction of individual liberty from God that led in turn to the rise of the constitutional, representative republics and democracies of the Western world. Thank God for the Reformation!

The slippery slope of relativism, subjectivism, and pragmaticism within denominations can only be avoided through a high view of Scripture. How high? Once again, a view that is no lower than what Christ himself affirmed and taught.

It’s all true…or it isn’t.

Another author asks a good question:

“If the Scripture is unreliable, can we offer the world a reliable gospel? How can we be sure of truth on any issue if we are suspicious of errors anywhere in the Bible? A pilot will ground his aircraft even on suspicion of the most minor fault, because he is aware that one fault destroys confidence in the complete machine. If the history contained in the Bible is wrong, how can we be sure the doctrine or moral teaching is correct?” A very good question indeed.

I would make the case that the inerrancy of Scripture may well be the most important teaching within Christianity. Why? Because everything we believe and teach as essential doctrine is based upon it. Such essentials as “God is love,” Christ died for our sins, or adultery is wrong are based upon an understanding that God has revealed these truths in the Bible. We believe these essentials because God declares them in His word. It is the foundation of our faith.

A Firm Foundation

The Bible is our foundation of truth as Christ followers, but, “if the foundations be destroyed, what will the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3 So, if this precious foundation is destroyed, we have no authority upon which to base truth except the opinions of men, which are constantly changing and contradicting one another. Truth turns into a “flavor of the day” relativism in such cases,  and in many others, the concept of absolute truth is rejected completely! Your truth may not be my truth and every definition is accepted except the concept of objective, absolute truth as defined by God in His word, the Bible. There is tolerance for anything and everything except that. Imagine.

It is easy to see why Satan’s most strategic attack is against the foundational doctrine of biblical inerrancy. If the Great Deceiver succeeds in causing a person to question one thing, he/she can be deceived into questioning almost anything. This was his very first attack upon innocence in Eden. The enemy of our souls did not tempt Eve with any other sin, just in the sin of questioning what God had commanded: in other terms, questioning… His word.

Today the enemy of all truth can still be heard hissing, “Yeah, hath God said…?”  After getting her to question and doubt what God had said, the trap was set, and the next lie came, contradicting God´s clear commandment…

“thou shalt not surely die.”

She believed the lie, and here we are. The rest is history.

Of course, most of those that reject inerrancy do not actually believe this account even happened and usually accept the lie of Darwinian evolution to explain the origins of life and the human race. To them, Noah and the Flood or Jonah and the whale are just stories with a nice moral lesson. The problem is, Christ Himself declared these accounts as historical saying, “in the beginning God created them both male and female,” as well as quoting as factual the accounts of Noah and Jonah.  If these accounts never happened, then Jesus lied and is imperfect himself, and therefore cannot be our perfect Savior. Once again, can you see where the rejection of biblical inerrancy leads? It really does matter.  Yes, a lot is at stake here for sure.

A clarification and a defense

It is true that God used men to write the Bible and men are imperfect. But a perfect God superintended the composition and transmission of His word. The Bible is inerrant in spite of the fact that human vessels were used. The Scripture came through “holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”  (I Pet 1:21) Indeed, these men in themselves were not perfect, but what came from them while writing under God’s supervision and inspiration truly was. It is possible to draw a straight line with a crooked stick.

The Scripture was “God breathed” (II Timothy 3:16) but at the same time expressed through human vessels in language, metaphors, and the common understanding of the time it was written. God used different personalities and literary expressions, but without compromising truth in any way, shape or form. All Christians that profess biblical inerrancy agree to this.

This is why Scripture can refer to the sun rising in the east, even though we know the sun doesn’t actually rise.  Today we still refer to the “sunrise” and the “sunset.” There are many more examples I could cite, but this relaying of God’s message in the terms and understanding of the time in no way detracts from the Bible’s perfect accuracy.

Meeting the “Science Challenge”

Many progressive theologians that oppose the doctrine of inerrancy often say that this belief causes problems for the Christian faith because the inerrantist is obligated to meet and overcome all the latest challenges presented by “science.” They fear that holding to inerrancy will cause people to reject the Christian faith as a whole if it doesn’t line up with modern philosophies, theories, or conclusions. So, in an effort to “save Christianity,” they then promote the idea that it is acceptable to reject most of what the Bible teaches, as long as one adheres to just a few points of the Christian faith. This conclusion is extremely problematic and contributes not to the strengthening of faith, but to the loss of it.

Those that attempt to sacrifice or compromise the Bible´s teachings to accommodate the latest trend or theory are committing a grave mistake. They are ignoring the warning of God through the Apostle when he writes: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Col 2:8

While it is true that the Bible is not in itself a science book, it does include dozens of declarations about the natural world that were unknown by mankind at the time of its writing and have been scientifically confirmed within the last few hundred years or less.  This in itself is a strong argument for the divine origin of the Holy Scriptures. See http://www.provethebible.com/101-scientific-facts.html

It is important to understand that most all of us that believe that the Bible is inerrant actually love science and believe that it is completely compatible with its teachings. Those that believe in a perfect God and a perfect Bible welcome these challenges. But let me clarify that by the term “science,” we are talking about facts that are clearly proven through observation and the scientific method, not the “…oppositions of science falsely so called.” I Tim 6:20

True science would not include unproven theories such as macro-evolution, which is nothing but a religion masquerading as science. After our increased knowledge during the last 30 years or so, this unprovable theory seems even more impossible today than in 1859 when Darwin published his “Origin of the Species by means of natural selection or the preservation of favored races in the struggle for life.” (Yes, that was the complete, original, and racist title.)

What is often called “science” today is nothing more than the declarations of men that have sold out to the highest bidder or to whoever is funding their “research” to obtain a certain, sought after conclusion. (“Lucy” the ape woman is a good example of this!)

The latest “science” of modern gender theory will be seen in the portals of history and eternity in the same light as the doctors who proclaimed the benefits of smoking for respiratory health and that “bloodletting” with leaches was a life saver. These are just a few examples but many more could be given to show how time and time again what was once promoted as fact has fallen by the wayside after the test of time and observation. But in the midst of this, God´s word stands like an immovable rock. Yes, the Bible IS compatible with true science and archeology as well.

The great archeologist William Albright set out to prove the Bible false and historically inaccurate. After years of laborious archeological examinations, he came away with the firm conviction that the Bible was true in all of its historical accounts and ended up converted to Christ! This is just one of a myriad of examples that can be given.

It has not always been immediate, but time and observation have always confirmed the Bible´s teachings regarding the natural world and the historical record. All we need to do as Christ followers is to trust our Savior when He declares, “Thy word is truth.” (John 17:17) Even though the Bible´s teachings are true, there is still the element of faith that chooses to trust God even in the moments when everything is not totally clear, or the proof is still forthcoming.

The Bible records statements that are not true, but these statements are easily understood in context. The Bible says for example, “There is no God.” A full reading of the verse renders the true meaning. “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God.”   So can almost every apparent contradiction or “problematic passage” be explained and understood. Time will not permit me to delve into defending or explaining these passages now. That has already been done in many other writings by people more knowledgeable than I in the areas of exegesis, context, and biblical languages.

A challenge already met

It is important to note that almost every attack on the Bible throughout history has already been met and overcome through proper understanding and hermeneutics. All the supposed “contradictions” or historical fallacies have been met by Bible scholars to the point that those that love God´s word continue to be convinced of its faithfulness in all things, even in the current year in which we are alive.

These same, tired attacks continue to fail again and again as Holy Scripture stands like an immovable rock to even the greatest scrutiny. The latest accusations that the Bible condones slavery or genocide are also easily refuted in the light of proper hermeneutics and exegesis. If I could recommend one book of many to read regarding the apologetics of God, the Bible, and the Christian faith, it would be “In Defense of the Faith,” by Dave Hunt. Check it out.

Yes, the Bible is indeed, an “anvil that has worn out many hammers!” It is noteworthy that those that reject biblical inerrancy tend to reject apologetics altogether. Sadly, they are depriving themselves of dozens of amazing, fulfilled prophecies found in the Bible as well as the many declarations about the natural world that were confirmed much later by relatively modern science. Believing in biblical inerrancy, far from damaging faith, causes it to become more solid and robust to the sincere heart that seeks truth above all else.

Continuing to meet the objections: A slippery slope

Other progressive theologians erroneously affirm that only the declarations of the first three or four general councils should be regarded as essential truth, or perhaps even the misnamed “Apostles Creed.” (Which was actually compiled hundreds of years after the apostles)

So…the Councils determined truth? Really? And who decided that? That would make them the absolute authority then on what is eternally true and what is not!  No, God alone reveals truth and has declared this truth through Holy Scripture. It is His message to mankind spoken by the prophets, Christ, and Apostles.  This amazing book is still the most widely read, printed, banned and translated worldwide year after year.  The dark ages have passed, and it can now be read and understood individually without the help of any infallible council, pope, or scholar. All you need is the Holy Spirit! What a privilege!

What really matters regarding Christian Unity

Some would contend, “If every person can go directly to the Bible individually without the authority or help of popes, prophets, or Councils in their search for truth, wouldn´t that lead to an endless number of conclusions?” The answer to this question is, a resounding…no. It was to remove the “infallible mediators” between man and the Bible that the Reformation waged its uncompromising war.

If every person sincerely studied God´s word and was willing to accept its holy teachings apart from his/her own opinions and prejudices, most people would come to the same conclusions regarding the essentials with the help of the Holy Spirit, who leads “into all truth.” Yes, some topics that have always been universely considered non-essentials (spiritual gifts, music, church government, eschatology) may be understood differently, but this is not a problem. Why? Because the essential doctrines necessary for unity, salvation and holy living would be understood by all Christ followers without the help or interference of a third party. These subjects could be understood differently without much problem, because the unmovable foundation is the same and differing views can be adjusted without affecting the core value of biblical inerrancy. Certain subjects may be understood or defined in different ways, but the foundational teaching that the Bible is pure, infallible, and inerrant is the rock that will keep believers strong in faith even in this age of confusion, compromise, and apostasy.

The Bible, true only in parts?

As earlier stated, a common attack on inerrancy by some liberal voices today propose that only parts of the Bible are true, and others are not. Some may even teach that most of it is true, but that it still contains errors. This would be similar to saying, “most of the liquid in this glass is H2O, but there are other hazardous chemicals present, but you should still take a drink!, or, “most of these cookies were baked with the correct ingredients, but just a little dog excrement was used as well.” Would you drink that water or eat those cookies? If purity matters for water and cookies, how much more should it matter for God´s written  revelation to mankind?

The rejection of biblical inerrancy or even the “partly inerrant” view invariably leads to groups such as the infamous “Jesus Seminar” back in the early 90`s where so-called “scholars” determined that Jesus probably only said 6% of what the Gospels attribute to him. This understanding flies in the face of the very character of God, who never lies! It will always lead to further doubt and skepticism, leading to the question, “who then determines what the true portions of the Bible are and what are the erroneous ones?”

As soon as this premise is entertained, then the Bible loses its power and authority in the lives and hearts of men. God is no longer feared, and sin often becomes trivial or subjective. Why? Because when this is done, the Bible no longer judges men, but men become the judges of the Bible. This was never God’s intention and is why the Bible itself claims to be without error. “The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.” Psalm 12:6,7

When the Bible is critiqued, judged, and discredited, then the final authority becomes that thing that does the critiquing, judging, and discrediting. Yes, once a link in the golden chain of biblical inerrancy has been broken, how does one know anything is true? Man has made himself the judge of Scripture instead of the other way around. We now must rely on “them” to tell us what is true and what is not. Are you willing to trust your eternity to what “they” tell you is true?  I, for one…am not.

Of course, the problem with the conclusion of finite, human beings telling us what is true in the Bible and what is not is that they themselves are continually shifting their understanding and cannot agree by often contradicting one another. Many progressives and entire denominations are seeking to create a Christianity that is palatable to a perverted and lost world. They say, “My god would never…,” or “My god would approve of…” In this, they have created a god after their own image, instead of the other way around. They are correct in saying that their god would never do something that the Scripture teaches or affirm something the Scripture condemns, because “their god” doesn´t exist and is simply a creation of their own sinful thinking.

This is why the “god” of many progressive, Bible doubting “christians” is imperfect and limited in his knowledge. Those that ascribe to the heresies of process theology and open theism even teach that God learns from his mistakes or doesn´t even know the future! It is no wonder that they can now draw cartoons of Jesus marching in a parade in full support of gay pride. Indeed, they have crafted a god and a “Jesus” of their own imagining. Yes, this is where rejecting the doctrine of biblical inerrancy will almost always end up. You don´t believe me? Just look at history and observe the present. It is there for all to see.

I have also noticed that many people that deny biblical inerrancy will also spew heresies like “there are many ways to heaven,” “a literal hell doesn’t exist,” “God will not punish anyone,” and that “homosexual attraction is not sinful,” just to name a few. Once again, such things are the inescapable result when belief in a perfect Bible is traded for the opinions of sinful men.

Examining the issue further, the teaching that the Bible is inerrant only in some parts, but not in others is erroneous for two reasons:

First, we have the problem of “if I cannot trust you here, why should I trust you there?”  If the Bible’s account of creation is not true, why should we believe it regarding salvation? If it is false in its geology, why should we trust its theology? This would be like me telling my wife, “I’ll tell you the truth about my relationships, but not my finances.”  If I can’t be believed regarding my finances, should she trust what I tell her regarding my relationships? Of course not. If the Bible is indeed the word of God, then the very character of God would demand that all of it be true, not just parts or subjects that were somehow selected by finite and sinful men.

The second problem with the “inerrant only parts” premise is that it leads to the unavoidable question, “who then determines which parts are those that are without error?”  A Pope? A prophet? A council? Mother Church? A “community of faith?”  Which faith? As already stated, it was because of this very issue that the Reformation waged its uncompromising, spiritual war and placed the glorious light of “Sola Scriptura” in the hands and consciences of common men and women who could determine for themselves their own firm conviction of God´s truth.

What a marvelous thing for people of all classes and cultures to come to the same knowledge of God through a personal study of His word without coercion or deception! This is God’s plan; that we come to believe the timeless truths of His word by searching the Scriptures like the Bereans did in Acts 17 through the guidance from the Holy Spirit, not because we were “told what to believe” by a pope, prophet, council, or assembly.

Yes, we that believe in inerrancy may differ in some minor areas, but one thing is sure: what we believe is due to our own understanding and convictions gained by our own prayerful feeding on God’s holy word. Once again, I believe that if we all studied the Bible this way, we will eventually come into the unity of the faith.

The theological conclusions I hold to today have hardly changed in my 36 years of being a Christ follower, and I hold to them because of this personal study and understanding of God’s word, not because I was told by an ecclesiastical hierarchy what I should or shouldn’t believe. It was this same conviction that in 1521 emboldened a pious, German theologian to stand against the world, facing death, and declare, “Show me by Scripture my error or I will not recant. My conscience is captive to the word of God…Here a stand, I can do no other, God help me.”

Some examples learned from history

Finally, we must not simply examine a teaching. That is only half of the study. We must see where believing that teaching will lead. Without exception, the theological liberalism that rejects biblical inerrancy will always lead to deeper levels of the same. Progressivism knows no end. Thank God His truth does not change and…

“Forever is thy word established in the heavens.” Ps 119:89

History proves that when a person, church, society, or denomination abandons the belief that God has inerrantly spoken through his word the Bible, tragedy and spiritual death is the common result. It has been clearly observed and proven throughout history that rejecting biblical inerrancy has always been the first step in the downward spiral of apostasy for individuals and entire denominations.

Indeed, the rejection of biblical inerrancy is the “first base,” using a baseball metaphor, towards outright theological disaster. Preventing this first step is the only safeguard. If the runner is always thrown out at first, he will never make it to second, third, and certainly not home. The belief in an inerrant Bible is “the out” at first base for the progressive theologian and his errors that would take true Christianity down a road of certain corruption.

A Good Example

Most of the Ivy League universities began as a training centers for ministers and missionaries over two hundred years ago. They are now bastions for humanistic thought and a myriad of other ungodly philosophies. Think about that for a moment.  This transformation did not happen overnight. This is why landmarks of theological integrity must be set and never moved. Once again, you can´t make it to home plate if you don´t make it to first base. You can´t count to ten without first using the number one. The firm foundation of biblical inerrancy is the landmark which God has set.  It is the “first base” and the “number one” in guarding against the dangerous lies of the Evil One.

Europe was once the continent of the reformers, powerful preachers, first missionaries, and great revivals. After the surge and acceptance of liberal theology rising out of Germany in the early 20th century, a spiritual death began to infect the continent. The result was the embracing of ungodly, humanistic philosophies that led directly to two horrendous world wars.

As I alluded to earlier, one of the foremost teachings of this liberal theology was that the word of God was not the Bible, but rather Christ himself, the Logos. As already mentioned, that is a half-truth that sounds ok from the outside, but without the Holy Scripture, even the incarnate Logos is subject to personal interpretations, opinions, and pragmatism. No wonder the Apostle Paul feared the Corinthians would tolerate “another Jesus, another gospel, and another spirit.”  (II Cor 11:4) Without the Bible to define who the “Logos” is, Jesus could just as well be the half-brother of Lucifer as Mormonism teaches, a Guru who went to India as the New Agers teach, or simply a prophet that is not the Son of God as Islam declares.

In actuality, is it possible to affirm anything about Jesus Christ apart from the Sacred Scripture that gives testimony of Him? What do we honestly know for sure about Christ apart from the Bible? The answer? Absolutely nothing.

After the belief in inerrancy was rejected generally in Europe, Darwinian evolution, relativism, and militant nationalism were then embraced because “truth” became a matter of subjective opinion. The spiritual vacuum had to be filled and the loudest voices and the biggest guns prevailed. Culture and society were changed as the concept of absolute truth defined by God was rejected for a relative morality defined by humanistic thought. This is how the rejection of the Bible and its absolute morality led to the horrors of over 70 million deaths in both world wars from 1914-1945 and to the equally evil system of humanistic Marxism that killed even more people after that. Was all this from simply rejecting the theological concept of biblical inerrancy? I absolutely believe it was the safeguard that was removed from society and culture and what began to turn the wheels toward the horrors that followed.

A serious call for reflection

Unless Christians and churches in the United States return to preaching and believing in the absolute, inerrant truth of God’s holy word, it will find itself spiraling in the ever-downward trend of the theological liberalism and following the footsteps that led to the spiritual graveyard that is today´s Western Europe. Can anyone deny that this is exactly what we are seeing today? In the same measure that biblical inerrancy has been compromised or rejected, we have seen the corresponding moral decadence of Western culture and society.

In Scandinavia, (Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland) recent polls have revealed that there is now barely one young person in a thousand that believes that Jesus Christ is the only Way, Truth, and Life. This is none other than the direct result of their forefathers rejecting the doctrine of biblical inerrancy from years before. After all, if the story of Adam and Eve is not true, how do we know that the story of the Resurrection is?

Once again: God did not give the Bible to man so that he could pick and choose what he likes or doesn’t like as if he were at a buffet restaurant. The Bible is true…or it isn’t. It stands as a unit and cannot be separated nor compromised.

A source of true power and why many are blind to it

Not surprisingly, most of the opposition to the doctrine of biblical inerrancy comes from so called “higher learning.”  But if you travel to places like Africa, China, and Latin America where Christianity is exploding and people are coming to Christ by the thousands on a daily basis, you will find that Christians there may not be highly educated, but almost without exception they believe the Bible is the infallible word of God.  This, along with genuine repentance are the common denominators that unite the great revivals and supernatural moves of God and during the past several hundred years.

There is a spiritual element to understanding the things of God that transcends all criticism, philosophies, and doctorate degrees. The Scripture rings true: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”  The “natural man” does “not like to retain God in his knowledge,” and usually the reason he chooses to deny the Bible as inerrant is because there is something that his carnal mind doesn’t care for or simply won’t accept.

The opposition to biblical inerrancy is deeply rooted in the innate, sinful nature of man, which “cannot receive the things of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, for they are spiritually discerned.” A deeper study of I Corinthians 2 reveals (if you believe that chapter to be true of course!) that God’s words cannot be approached with the prideful arrogance of human understanding, but only with a spiritual mind and humble heart willing to be led by the author of Scripture, the Holy Spirit Himself.

It matters not how many university degrees a person piles on to their name, if they do not approach God’s word with fear and trembling, he/she will never be able to grasp it with the true, spiritual understanding that only God can give. Yes, God still “has hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them unto little children.” Mat 11:25 He still “looks…to the one that trembles at (his) word.” Is 66:2

Churches and Christianity in general are becoming every day more powerless and less relevant in our society of post-modernism. There is a reason for this, simply because God cannot bless that which is not true. Most churches are dying because they proclaim a powerless message that is not based on the eternal truth of God´s holy word, the Bible. When His word is denied or negated, His power and presence depart. God will no more bless a message that is false than would He send fire to consume the sacrifice upon Baal’s altar in Elijah´s day, even though the false prophets scream, bleed, and dance. They may fill a large building with people, but the end result are lives that are no different than those outside the building. There is no weeping for sin, no repentance, and certainly no powerful, genuine move of the Holy Spirit.  They are doing nothing more than giving a “high five” to a drowning man.

There is POWER when the word of God is accepted just as He meant it to be; completely inerrant and authoritative. This is the first step toward a genuine revival and true move of God.

I previously mentioned how when I came to Christ, I began to feast on it for hours a day.  I was truly “not living by bread alone, but by every word of God.” I believed what the Bible said about itself and received it as authoritative and true spiritual food. I was experiencing I Peter 2:2 in a wonderful way:

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”

But there is something else I need to mention about my teenage experience. After about a year or so of this awesome spiritual growth, I read some literature that caused me to begin to doubt the absolute inerrancy of the God´s word without even realizing it. I was rather gullible and subconsciously gave place to this lie without investigating it or presenting it to God in prayer. I could feel my joy wane and my spiritual life begin to abate.  Thank God, this didn´t last too long and when I began to understand some of these things that I am sharing with you today and to again believe God’s word was perfect and inerrant, the joy and the power returned! So, I know firsthand where rejecting biblical inerrancy can lead if we´re not careful. But by God´s grace, He rescued me from “Doubting Castle” with the “Key of Promise,” just like in Bunyan´s Pilgrim´s Progress. (Who, by the way, also firmly believed in the doctrine of inerrancy!)

The moment a person, church or denomination subjects the Bible to criticism and skepticism, they can no longer exercise true spiritual power and authority. Spiritual sickness and death then begin to creep in. Hearts no longer “burn within them while (Christ) opens unto them the Scriptures” (Lk 24:32) because it is not accepted for what it is; God speaking inerrantly to us!

Conclusion

Dear follower of the Living Christ, believe and declare what the Lord Jesus himself affirmed over and over: that the Bible is the holy and perfect word of God! This truth will be your protection in these times of apostasy and the time of great deception that is yet to come. (Or is it already here?)

Say together with the Apostle Paul: “We are not as many, which corrupt the word of God.” (II Cor 2:17)

Yes, Jesus afirmed the doctrine of biblical inerrancy.  I hope now you can see why you should as well.

 http://biblia.berithar.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Declaracion-de-Chicago.pdf

“¿No habéis leído…?”

¿Has experimentado personalmente la poderosa verdad de I Juan 2:14?…

Si no puedes, ten cuidado, amigo mío.

“Ciertamente no morirás.”

¡convertido a Cristo!

¿No me crees?

Aquí estoy, no puedo hacer otra cosa, Dios me ayude.”

The Progressive Steps to World Dominion

Rev. Shane Wilson

The more we study leftist progressivism, whether it be political, social, or even in the church, the more clearly we come to see the tactics used to achieve its dark agenda of One-World group think. It is a step-by-step manual or playbook of sorts. These steps are…

1. To take good, wholesome words and phrases we all use and that no one can disagree with and attach new meanings to them in order to help change the culture and the overall paradigm. This is the first essential step to achieve the goal of community brain wash. Words such as love, equality, justice, or phrases like “no child left behind,” or “black lives matter” become the Trojan Horse and spearhead that opens the path for group think and mental manipulation. Next step…

2. Rewrite history to make conservative and biblical views look evil. Exaggerate many things, ignore others, and even invent historical accounts in order to further control “the Narrative.” Let only this version of history be taught in public schools and academia. Then…

3. Boldly and aggressively shout these re-conditioned words, phrases, and false historical narratives so frequently and so loudly that they become the norm. The Joseph Goebbels tactic of “repeating a lie loud enough and long enough until it becomes truth” is of utmost importance. Two plus two does indeed equal five and you are slowly gaslighted into believing you are the crazy one if you don´t believe it. Then…

4. Convince all the people you can that they are oppressed and create a “victim mentality.” Sew hatred, create division, and convince the populace that their country is systematically oppressive. Make them tear down their foundations and despise their history. The new cannot come until the old is gone. Then…

5. Appeal to “the science,” and “scholars” to further establish the paradigm and narrative. Make people think they cannot even question what they are being told to think because they don’t have a PhD. Only quote or appeal to the “studies,” “scholars,” or “science” that agree with the Progressive version of the world and what is happening. Ignore and even seek to discredit all other truly independent studies, logic, science, or voices that contradict it. This goes along with…

6. Making the multitude believe that the only source that can be used for determining facts, truth, or science for “debunking” is their biased group of “fact checkers” and this must be everybody’s source. You are crazy or disingenuous if you even question it. No independent thought, speech, research, and especially open debate can be permitted. When was the last time you saw progressives welcome open debate at a university? Only one version of the story is even allowed, which is, of course, their version. Then…

7. Create straw men examples and attach all conservative views to them. For example: ALL Bible believing Christians are the Westboro Baptist Church that rejoices in the death of homosexuals. ALL people that have a sense of nationalistic pride are Nazis! And ALL people that support capitalism are like the greedy billionaires that enrich themselves at the cost of the poor. Guilt by association will work as long as the lemmings don’t realize the straw men are false. Then…

8. Cancel, shame, and call out all those that disagree with the Leftist Narrative. Label them “racists” if they support conservative values. Call them “haters” if they don´t accept gay marriage or refuse to pretend that a man is a woman, or a woman is a man. Boycott their businesses, attempt to get them fired, and threaten them into submission. Works like a charm. Next step…

9. Gain total power through the mainstream media, Big Tech, political manipulation, stolen elections, and billion-dollar corporations so as to eventually pass laws against speaking or even thinking against the progressive, group-think narrative and world view.

And finally- and this is the step they don’t mention even in their manuals, but it is just as real as the first nine…

10. Fine, imprison, and yes, eventually even EXECUTE those that refuse to conform. No other opinions, worldviews, or understanding will be tolerated…on the pain of death. The only hope for the dissenting person is to be, uh…“reconditioned” and true history has proven that there are some very creative ways to obtain this end.

If you think the above steps, or even just step number ten are inaccurate or exaggerated, I would simply point out that each and every one of them has already been carried out to the letter in many parts of the world in just the last century. Estimates are that over 100 million people have died during the last 100 years at the hands of leftist totalitarianism. The promise of Utopia ends in the loss of freedom and even life for those that don’t buy into it.

The Marxist manuals and playbooks have been calling for the first nine steps for many years. (As mentioned, number ten is hidden until the first nine are achieved.)

Today´s disciples of progressivism are fully united in faithfully carrying out these steps to obtain the desired goal of a globalist one-world government. They will use terms like solidarity, equality, and safety, but we Bible-believing Christians know this movement to be the diabolical system prophesied in Revelation 13 called “the Beast” headed by none other than the antichrist himself.

Useful tools such as Climate Change, Social Justice, Globalism, World Peace, and the “Plandemic” have been used as Trojan Horses to introduce their sinister objective of world control and group think. Even here in the great US of A we have quickly forgotten about the evils of leftist totalitarianism as we have steadily traded our precious freedoms for so-called “safety and security.” We have rapidly moved from step number 1 to the middle of step number nine in just a few years. This is frightening.

So, how long until we arrive at number ten? The answer to that question depends on many factors, but the one deterrent to it is an all-inclusive cultural change that will open blind eyes; a change that can only be obtained through a massive spiritual awakening and revival based on biblical worldview, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, deep and sincere repentance from sin, and the empowering of the Holy Spirit of God.

This revival can only start in churches and among Christians, but such an awakening will be next to impossible as long as Christians remain fearful, deceived, or indifferent. It is time to be awake, not woke. It is time to repent, fast, and pray for revival as never before. Such a revival is the only remedy. There is no other way.

And this revival is the one thing that the first radical progressive, Lucifer, fears the most.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
